Whatsoever Things was founded by Julie McPhail in 2015 out of her love for giving unique, personalized gifts. Named after Philippians 4:8, Whatsoever Things is dedicated to creating affordable custom gifts – gifts that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and admirable – for every occasion. 

Raised by a mom (and equally remarkable dad) who made every occasion special, Julie credits much of her success to her family. Growing up, her mom handmade every gift imaginable and taught her how to channel her own creativity by helping her make gifts that spread joy. 

When Julie started her business, her mom was by her side every step of the way – she was her co-worker, cheerleader, listening ear, and so much more. When she passed away in 2017, Julie knew her vibrant spirit would live on through each gift crafted and given at Whatsoever Things.
