Reserve your finishing service with Speakeasy Needleworks! By purchasing this listing, you're reserving your pillow finishing service and submitting your deposit. We strive to make the finishing process easy, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish.

How It Works
1. Select Your Size
Please select your size based on the stitched design area, not the overall canvas size.
- Small: up to 7"
- Medium: 7"–9.9"
- Large: 10"–13.9"
- Extra Large: 14"–17.9"
- Jumbo: 18" and larger
If you're unsure which size to choose, we're happy to help before you purchase.
Canvas Submission & Turnaround
Our current estimated turnaround time is listed in the product title.
Turnaround begins only after your canvas and completed finishing form have been received and checked in by Speakeasy Needleworks.
To receive the turnaround time advertised at the time of purchase, your canvas must be received within 30 days of purchasing your finishing service.
If your canvas is received more than 30 days after purchase, your order will be scheduled according to our current production queue, and the turnaround time in effect when your canvas is received will apply.
Promotional Pricing
If you purchased your finishing service during a promotion or sale, your canvas must also be received within 30 days to receive the promotional pricing.
Canvases received after 30 days may be subject to current finishing prices before work begins.
Pricing
The amount paid at checkout serves as your finishing deposit and, in many cases, covers the full cost of finishing.
Additional charges may apply for custom finishing requests, including but not limited to:
- Specialty fabrics
- Decorative piping or cording
- Ruffles
- Gussets or boxed finishes
- Mitered corners
- Monogramming
- Custom sizing
- Return shipping
All finishing selections will be made on your required finishing form.
Inspiration Photos
We love inspiration photos!
Please include any inspiration you'd like us to reference, including:
- Fabric ideas
- Trim selections
- Color palettes
- Photos of previous finishes
- Pinterest or Instagram inspiration
The more information you provide, the better we can bring your vision to life.
Required Finishing Form
A completed Speakeasy Needleworks Finishing Form is required for every project.
Please:
- Complete the form after purchasing your finishing service.
- Attach the form to your order (if applicable).
- Print and include a copy with your shipped canvas.
Incomplete submissions may delay your project.
Finishing Policies
Pillow Construction
- Pillows are finished without a zipper unless otherwise requested.
Customer-Supplied Fabric
If providing your own fabric, please include:
- 1 full uncut yard for pillows with piping
- 2 full uncut yards for pillows with ruffles
Unused fabric will be returned with your finished order.
Customer-Supplied Cording
Please send uncut cording or full skeins only.
Blocking
Needlepoint is stitched by hand, and each stitcher's tension is unique. As a result, canvases may become distorted or out of square during the stitching process.
One standard blocking is included with your finishing service to help restore your canvas to its intended shape. Additional corrective blocking or restoration may incur additional charges.
Finisher's Choice
Selecting Finisher's Choice authorizes the Speakeasy Needleworks team to make aesthetic and finishing decisions on your behalf without additional approval.
Order Accuracy
By submitting your finishing order, you confirm that:
- Measurements are accurate.
- Personalization has been reviewed.
- Finishing selections are correct.
Changes requested after production has begun—including corrections to submitted information or changes to Finisher's Choice selections—may result in additional charges, including labor, re-finishing, and shipping.
Customer Materials
Speakeasy Needleworks is not responsible for issues resulting from customer-supplied materials, defective canvases, fibers, embellishments, or other items outside our control.
Shipping & Delivery
Customers are responsible for shipping or delivering their canvases to Speakeasy Needleworks.
Projects may be:
- Shipped via UPS or FedEx with tracking
- Dropped off locally by appointment
We strongly recommend shipping with tracking and insurance.
Speakeasy Needleworks is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged incoming shipments.
Finished pieces are returned via UPS with tracking and insurance included.
Signature confirmation is available upon request for an additional charge.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because finishing services reserve production capacity, all finishing deposits are non-refundable.
Purchasing this listing reserves your finishing service; however, your project enters our active production schedule only after your canvas and completed finishing form have been received and checked in by Speakeasy Needleworks.

Our current turnaround time for personalized items is 14 days. Please select the appropriate rush option in your shopping cart if you would like to receive your item faster before you checkout.
All orders are custom made and estimated to take about three weeks to complete during the 2025 holiday season unless otherwise noted.
We ship via UPS or USPS and tracking information is provided via email once your custom items are complete.
Shipping speed depends on carrier volume.
If you are local to the Dallas area, pickup options are available.

All orders are custom made and therefore FINAL SALE. Items are not returnable, refundable, or exchangeable unless a mistake is made on our part. If an item we stock is incorrectly personalized due to our error, we will gladly replace the damaged item for a new one, or refund you if this is not possible.
